View Data Location Summary

Click the DataComprises documents, numbers, files, emails, and any other information stored on a digital device. In eCapture, refers to the electronic files that are discovered and processed. Locations tab to view a list that contains a summary of all data locations selected for all media jobs, as shown in the following example:

 

Note: Data locations listed more than once have been selected for more than one medium.

 

The list contains the following columns:

Path

Data location path selected as part of a medium’s definition.

Enterprise Job IDIn the eCapture Controller, a number assigned (through the SQL database) to every Project, Discovery Job, or Processing Job.

Job identification assigned in ADDAutomated Digital Discovery Processing. This job ID will be “0” until the job starts in ADD Processing.

Note: This is not the Media ManagerA component of the ADD workflow provides a solution for efficient, secure media management. Job ID.

CustodianIn eDiscovery, the data custodian is usually the person responsible for, or the person with administrative control over, granting access to an organization's documents or electronic files while protecting the data as defined by the organization's security policy or its standard IT practices.

The data owner selected as part of a medium’s definition.

Case

The case selected as part of the data source definition.

Created By

The MediaThe medium (hard drive, DVD, network share, etc.) associated with the delivery. Manager user who connected the data location to a medium.

Created Date

The date and time the data location connection was completed for a medium (that is, all steps completed and the Process button clicked).

Status

The job status assigned in ADD Processing.

Job Details

File/data progress details as described for Monitor a Job.
