Case Data Summary

Summarizes case size details such as number and total size (in MB) of case files and data (image, native, and/or extracted text).

Report can optionally be based on any field defined with the category option. For example, if the AUTHOR field is a category field, the report could be generated to summarize case details by author.

Case Review Summary

  • Case Review Summary: Provides the current or final state of case documents and review activity for a selected case.

  • Case Summary by Category: Provides a summary of case review details organized by the category values of a selected field (a field with the Category flag set. See Create a Case for details on the Category flag.)

Inactive Case

Lists all inactive cases in order by client. (For details on inactive cases, see Make a Case Inactive or Active).

Privilege

Lists documents containing tags that have been defined with the Include in Privilege Report option (in Administration). Optionally includes redaction details for the documents and fields defined by the user.

One use of this report is to identify privileged documents (that is, documents that should not go to opposing counsel).

Case management reports

The following reports are available as part of case management:

  • Gaps Report

  • Volume Path Report

  • Duplicates Report

  • Broken File Links

To access these reports, from the Dashboard, click on the Administration module. In Administration, click on the Reports tab. Details on these reports are presented in Use Case Management Reports.

Deduplication reports

The following reports (log files) are created when you perform deduplication during native file ingestion:

  • Deduplication details report

  • Deduplication summary report

See Ingest Native Files for details on deduplication and these reports.

Privileges Required

Report access is governed by the Print Reports privilege, which allows users to generate and work with reports. By default, this privilege is given to all user roles except the Standard User. See Overview: Security for details on user and group privileges.

NOTE: Regarding the Case Review Summary, the report will display results based on the user permissions of the person running the report (that is, reporting on those tags and records they have permissions to see).

Before You Begin

Before you begin, ensure that your case is defined as required. For example, if tags are not defined with the Include in Privilege Report option, the Privilege Report will not include them. Make sure all aspects of a case, or review passes, are defined.
