Configuring Teams Connector

To index and archive files, posts, and replies from direct chats, group chats, and channels in Microsoft Teams, you must configure the connector and create the required Index and Archive location in the NetGovern Admin UI. You will create a Live Location, an Instant Messaging Store, and select Teams as the source location. Once you have created the Live Location and completed the configuration of the connector, indexing and archiving jobs can be set up to crawl and archive the data in Teams. The Live Location and data can then be included in a NetGovern case.

First, you must integrate NetGovern with Office 365. Register the TeamsArchiving application with the Microsoft Identity Platform and grant the permissions required. Once you have completed the prerequisites for configuring the Teams connector, you can create the Live Location in the NetGovern Admin UI.
