Use Expert Report Explorer Right-Click Context Menu

There are several ways you can use the Expert Report Explorer to manage the documents in your case. The right-click context menu in the explorer provides several additional options to make your workflow quicker and more efficient.

Right-Click on Document

The following table explains the options in the right-click context menu when you click on an expert report. There are different options that appear when you right-click on an individual page of an expert report. Those options are explained in the next section of this article.

Add Document

Opens the Add Documents dialog box.

Open Document

Opens the work area for the selected expert report.

Send Item(s) to Workbook

Initiates the process to move any documents selected in the Expert Report Explorer to a selected workbook.

Present Item

Sends the selected item to PRESENT. This option is only available if PRESENT is installed and can only be selected if PRESENT is running.

Remove Document

Removes the selected document.

Properties

Opens the Properties dialog for the selected document.

Right-Click on Page

If you expand the Pages subfolder of an expert report, you can right-click on an individual page to display a context menu with additional options. These additional options allow you to add the page to one of the subfolders associated with that expert report. The following table explains the options in the right-click context menu for an individual page:

Open Document

Opens the work area for the selected expert report.

Add Table

Opens the Add Table dialog box, which allows you to provide a custom name and description for the selected page, and to save the selected page to the Tables subfolder.

Add Figure

Opens the Add Figure dialog box, which allows you to provide a custom name and description for the selected page, and to save the selected page to the Figures subfolder.

Add Paragraph/Subsection

Opens the Add Paragraphs and Subsections dialog box, which allows you to provide a custom name and description for the selected page, and to save the selected page to the Paragraphs and Subsections subfolder.

Add Footnote

Opens the Add Footnote dialog box, which allows you to provide a custom name and description for the selected page, and to save the selected page to the Footnotes subfolder.

Add Exhibit

Opens the Add Exhibit dialog box, which allows you to provide a custom name and description for the selected page, and to save the selected page to the Exhibits subfolder.

Add Attachment

Opens the Add Attachment dialog box, which allows you to provide a custom name and description for the selected page, and to save the selected page to the Attachments subfolder.

Send Item(s) to Workbook

Initiates the process to move any documents selected in the Expert Report Explorer to a selected workbook.

Present Item

Sends the selected item to PRESENT. This option is only available if PRESENT is installed and can only be selected if PRESENT is running.

Remove Item(s)

Removes the selected item(s). A warning message displays prior to removal. To proceed with the removal, click Yes.

Properties

Opens the Properties dialog for the selected document.
