Create Case Story Reports

You can create several different reports in the Case Story module Reports Explorer.

  • Case Issues Report - Displays facts associated with all or a selected set of issues. You can select any of the following documents, transcripts, and facts. .
  • Cast Evidence Report - Displays the evidence associated will all or a selected set of cast members. You can select any or all of the following types of evidence: documents, multimedia, clips, and transcripts.
  • Cast Fact Report - Displays facts associated with all or a selected set of cast members.

ClosedCreate a Case Issues Report

To create a Issues Report, follow the steps below:

  1. Click the Case Story tab in the left navigation panel.

  2. Open the needed case by double-clicking the case name in the Cases table. Alternatively, you can select the appropriate case name, then click the Open Case button in the ribbon bar above the table.

  3. Click the Reports tab in the left navigation panel.

    The Reports Explorer displays.

  4. Click the Issues Report item in the explorer.

  5. Click the Run Selected Report button in the explorer ribbon bar.

  6. The Issues Report wizard appears.

  7. Ensure the selected options for the report are correct.

    Note: See the table below for information on all of the report options.

  8. Click Next.

  9. Continue to select options and click the Next button in the wizard until you arrive at the Summary page.

    On the Summary page, you can review the options you selected for the report and click the Back button if you need to make any changes.

  10. Click the Preview button.

  11. The report is generated and appears in the Report Work Area.

    You can use the options in the Report Work Area ribbon bar to perform any of the following actions:

    • Navigate between pages in the report

    • Save the report to PDF

    • Close the report

Report Options

The Clips Report contains the following customization options:

Issues

Select all to view all issues associated with the case grouped by issue type.

Cover Page

Select to add a cover page to the Issues report.

Date Footer

Select to add a date footer at the bottom of each page of the report.

Elements

Select the types of information you want included in the report. The options are Documents, Transcripts, and Facts.

To create a Cast Evidence Report, follow the steps below:

  1. Click the Case Story tab in the left navigation panel.

  3. Click the Reports tab in the left navigation panel.

    The Reports Explorer displays.

  4. Click the Cast Evidence Report item in the explorer.

  5. Click the Run Selected Report button in the explorer ribbon bar.

  6. The Cast Evidence Report wizard appears.

  7. Ensure the selected options for the report are correct.

  8. Note: See the table below for information on all of the report options.

  9. Click Next.

  10. Continue to select options and click the Next button in the wizard until you arrive at the Summary page.

    On the Summary page, you can review the options you selected for the report and click the Back button if you need to make any changes.

  11. Click the Preview button.

  12. The report is generated and appears in the Report Work Area.

    • Navigate between pages in the report

    • Save the report to PDF

Report Options
