Locate Rotated Images

1. On the LOCAL DISCOVERY Dashboard, expand the Utilities menu in the top, far-left corner of the screen. Select the Case Utilities button from that menu to open the application in a new window.

   

2. Select one or more cases.

3. Click on the Image Search Rotation tab.

   

4. Specify the location where the log file should be stored.

5. Click Search.

6. The utility will find all EXIF rotated images in the selected case(s) that have annotations or redactions. If you bring in new files those files will already be addressed. The report will still let you know if the case has rotated images. Any future annotations will be fixed and have the correct rotation.
